campfire anthems

so i got a late start today with the whole reading thing.  emily and i decided that we i wanted to go to orlando to go to the apple store at the mall of millenia and to the new ikea.  i was a little disappointed by the apple store.  i thought that since it was in orlando it would be so much better than the one in tampa but it was really small and crowded.  oh well.  ikea, however, is quite a place.  those swedes sure do it right.  we spent like 2 hours in there looking at everything and fighting crowds.  we ended up buying a new, more sleek t.v. console.  once we got home it was about 5:oo so we ate dinner and then began the assembly process on our new purchase.  3 hours later i decided i was going to cook and eat more food.  guys can do that.  ok, enough rambling.

today’s devotion was ezra 9:10-15.  it was a prayer that ezra sent up to god about how awful the world was becoming.  with the pollution, crime, sexual promiscuity, etc.  ok, fair enough.  then i read the “think” section and it says to think about what things in this world bother me, like they bothered ezra.  a lot of the same topics came up.  i guess things never change.  So why don’t you think about it?  what things bother you?  what can we (christians) do about it?
